Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This website is run by Meghana Organics. We decide why and how the personal data described here is used. Questions about this policy can be sent to support@meghanaorganics.com.

2. What we collect

• Orders: your name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address, optional company name and order notes, the items you bought and the amounts paid.
• Payments: card, UPI and bank details are entered in Razorpay's checkout and never reach our servers. We receive only a payment reference and its status.
• Your account (optional): your email address, name, saved addresses and order history. If you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google.
• Messages and reviews: what you send through the contact form (name, email, optional phone number and message) and product reviews you submit (name, email, rating and text; the email is never published).
• Marketing consent: whether you ticked "Email me with news and offers" at checkout. It is off unless you choose it.
• Technical data: your IP address, used briefly to limit repeated form and checkout requests and kept in server logs by our hosting provider.

3. How we use it

• To take payment for, pack, ship and support your orders (performing our contract with you).
• To answer your messages and publish reviews you submit, after moderation.
• To send news and offers, only if you agreed. You can withdraw that consent at any time.
• To prevent fraud and abuse and keep the website secure.
• To keep the tax, accounting and consumer-protection records the law requires.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with the service providers that run this store for us:

• Razorpay processes payments.
• Supabase hosts our database, accounts and sign-in.
• Cloudflare hosts the website.
• Google, only if you choose to sign in with Google.
• India Post's PIN code directory (api.postalpincode.in) receives the PIN code you type at checkout, so we can fill in your city and state.
• Courier and postal partners receive your name, address and phone number to deliver your order.

Some of these providers may process data outside India. We may also disclose data when the law requires it.

5. Cookies and browser storage

We use only what the site needs to work. Sign-in cookies (set by Supabase) keep you logged in, and a short-lived cookie remembers which page to return to after signing in. Your cart, an applied promo code, quiz progress and whether you have seen our welcome offer are kept in your browser's local storage. We use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

6. How long we keep it

Order and payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires (GST records, for example, for at least six years). Account data is kept until you delete your account or ask us to. Contact messages and reviews are kept while they are needed to answer you or are published. Unpaid checkouts are kept only as long as we need them to reconcile payments.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
• correct or complete it;
• erase it, unless we must keep it by law (for example, invoices);
• withdraw a consent you gave, such as marketing emails;
• nominate another person to exercise these rights if you die or become unable to.

Email support@meghanaorganics.com from the address you used with us. We may ask you to confirm it is you.

8. Grievances and contact

Complaints about how we handle your personal data go to our Grievance Officer at support@meghanaorganics.com. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days.
